Which is the most useful language to learn if you are travelling in europe. is it spanish, german, italian, russian, french... or maltese? depending on whi. I am tossing up between learning russian or german first. i want to learn german so i can talk to my friend in german but i would also like to learn russian as my family is from russia.. I once asked if german or russian is easier. most said german. even though i know this i still struggle to decide. i don't want to learn both because i would rather do one thing well than two things poorly..
